　　粘箱机有半自动和全自动两种，半自动结构的粘箱机，机械结构简单，操作、调整比较方便，机器可进行自动输纸，对半成品纸箱的搭接舌部位进行自动刷胶，折叠粘合成型主要靠人工操作，其生产速度取决于生产员操作的熟练程度，该机用工人数较多，一般单排收纸粘合成型需 要三至六个人，但是，生产效率大大高于人工的粘箱作业。而全自动的粘箱机机械结构比较复杂，纸板的折叠粘合成型也全部可以用机械完成，不仅生产速度比半自动的机器高，而且质量也比较稳定，适用于大批量纸箱、纸盒的自动粘合成型。现在市场上还有柔版印刷折叠粘箱机，可在印刷机上联机实现折叠粘箱功能，可较好地提高纸箱的生产能力，缩短生产周期。由于机器的结构不同，其性能、生产效率和质量也有一定的差异。对绝大多数的中、小型纸箱厂来说，一般采用半自动的粘箱机就可以满足生产的需要。
